Monochromatic Monday
This was the tree I climbed as a child that aged in our backyard. The very old garage with it's shabby shingles was the neighbor's. The somber color color fit my mood as my parents moved out of the only childhood home I knew, just last year.

Just last year? That would be very hard to take :-( I hope you have lots of pictures to keep your memories alive.
From the angle of the shot it looks like you climbed that tree for old times sake. :-)
I guess it carries all sorts of emotions for you. It is a picture I like very much - good textures.
Somber indeed. Twenty year's ago my Da passed, my Mam sold the house and asked me for my key. I had that key forever, it had gone with me around the world and was always my touch stone of home. I understand the emotion of this photo. Wish I had a picture of my key. hugs, judi
